HANSA Aircraft Services PLC is a registered company of Bangladesh under company act 1994. The Company got enlisted in Joint Stock Company on 29 May 2023. HANSA Aircraft Services PLC (HAS) is a concern of Unique Group (UG) which is one of the largest conglomerates and foremost diversified business entities in Bangladesh. The journey of Unique Group has started in early 1980’s offering multiple services and products to customers in various industrial sectors. It has more than 3500 employees and a number of operational bases at home and abroad. HANSA Aircraft Services PLC is one of the new editions in the fastest growing business units of Unique Group (UG) focused on rendering services to the aviation industry of Bangladesh.

INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND

Bangladesh is experiencing rapid economic growth, which is driving increased demand for air travel. The aviation industry in Bangladesh has been expanding steadily, with a growing fleet of aircraft, both passenger and cargo and an increasing number of airlines operating in the country. However, there is currently a limited availability of reliable and quality MRO services in Bangladesh, resulting in a significant gap in the market.

The MRO facilities in Bangladesh are inadequate to meet the growing demand for aircraft maintenance services. As a result, airlines and aircraft operators in Bangladesh are forced to depending on MRO facilities in neighbouring countries, which often results in higher costs and longer turn around time(TAT) for aircraft. Establishing a reliable and efficient MRO facility in Bangladesh would not only fulfil the growing demand but also reduce the dependence on foreign MROs, resulting in cost effective and improved operational efficiency for the aviation industry. In this context, we are establishing an MRO facility in Bangladesh which aims to fill the gap in the market, contribute to our national GDP and provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the aviation industry.
